All you ever wanted to know about Co-Djz

The People

We are Chris Gilvear and Chris Darby together running Co-Djz since 2001. With respective backgrounds in local radio and technician-type-stuff, our skills and experience combine to form the perfect entertainment team. Armed with our dashing good looks, great sense of humour, and slightly dodgy mirror, we guarantee to provide a quality evening's entertainment.

We have a third team member, Andy Coulton who looks after all things website and cheerfully stands in if either Chris is unavailable for an evening.

The Business

Based in South Bucks, we offer a superior service for a very fair price. With discos as our primary function, we've covered everything from 5th to 75th Birthdays, money-raisers and hell-raisers, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and funerals. Rates start from as little as £75.

As well as discos, we can host, supply and operate sound & lighting equipment for any occasion, be it a band night, school event, drama production or corporate function.

The Music

Our decade of combined experience has taught us that playing the right song at the right time is the key to the perfect disco. As such, we have always kept up to date with chart music although our massive back catalogue naturally contains music to suit all tastes.

We are always willing to discuss music selection in advance, particularly for themed events or special occasions, such as weddings.

Please note: we do not illegally download music from the internet, nor are we in any way associated with that type of DJ who talks all over the beginning and end of records.

The Kit

As standard, we carry professional sound and PA equipment suitable for up to 250 people. We also have an impressive and ever growing array of club lighting effects including smoke and strobes. On larger events, we are able to get very competitive rates for equipment to entertain tens of thousands of people!

Whatever the size of your party, we're willing to go the extra mile to ensure we have sufficient sound and lighting equipment to cover it, normally at no extra cost.
